This is also the SHORT version at 2:52, which was cut short for AM radio air play. The 7 minute version would have never been played on AM radio, so therefore, would never have been a hit. Who knows what would have happened to The Doors had this short version had never been made?! The record that I play is known as the Elektra Girl version, and it is the FIRST pressing of "Light My Fire", and is harder to find. The first record that I show, is still original, but is the more common second pressing. Both pressings are from when the record was released in 1967. iTunes DOES have this short version as a "Digital 45" - LOOK FOR IT!
